Here in Hampshire we are hoping that the Channel Islands population will flourish and perhaps in 10 years time we may see some of their progeny wandering north to prospect new breeding sites! Keep up the good work.

Amused that old Dingle has a new namesake. I am sure Dingle helped procure a multi-million Euro grant to set up and run the Pygmy Hog breeding and release programme in Assam, because the EC desk officer remembered him from a visit to the Zoo!
Well done to the team. I hope that hearing the cry of the Chough on Jersey’s cliffs after so long stirs a profound sense of satisfaction, well deserved.

Some one should try and invent a transmitter that is tiny enough to fit inside a leg ring, tecnology these days may be able to come up with an idea.
Good luck with the rest of the project.
