A few pairs of the magnificent raven nest on Jersey’s cliffs. This large corvid has a massive black bill, shaggy throat, and long, wedge-shaped tail. Ravens are often solitary or found in pairs. Their loud hollow ‘cronk‘ call can be heard over long distances. You might also hear a two note call that sounds a bit like they are saying hello!
